Product Description

This Scan-Tech ignition switch may be installed on 1986 through 1998 Saab 9000 vehicles. The ignition switch is like a light switch to turn on the car. Like a light switch, ignitions have the exterior component that is moved and the electrical component that sends power to the system. This is the electrical portion of the vehicle's ignition. It does not include the locking assembly on the exterior of the ignition switch. Use of this electrical ignition switch is recommended for Saab 9000 vehicles made between 1986 and 1998. It may not be compatible with the ignition system on other makes, models, or years.

I needed a passenger side headlight assembly for my 2003 Ford Taurus. I went to the Ford dealer, who wanted $165 for it. The local junkyard had a used one they would sell me for $65. I finally ran across Parts Geek. I found a brand new headlight assembly for $38. I ordered it with my debit card on Wednesday. It arrived the following Monday. It was perfect. The mechanic who installed it was so impressed that he checked with Parts Geek and found the same assembly for his car. His dealer wanted $240. Parts Geek had the same part for $46. I cannot say how impressed I was with my order.
