Ford Replacement Axle Boots

Ford CV BootSupport your car's speed and power by investing in the finest in quality engine parts. Buyers who choose a Ford realize that reliability and elegance are well worth protecting; the right accessories can keep your vehicle going strong. Ford is a decades-old automotive manufacturer renowned for designing reliable and solid cars and trucks. Your vehicle's Ford CV Boot protects the CV joint from damage from road debris and weather problems like mud. Ford CV Boots do this by enclosing the CV joint inside a rubber or silicone protective sheath, which shields it from harm. While this protection is not vital by itself, if it rips or tears then the vehicle's CV joint itself can become clogged or frozen, or broken, a repair job which can cost $700 or more. A great way to safeguard your vehicle's dependability is with our quality parts and incredible customer service. All of us completely deserve professional support when shopping for quality auto parts for a car or truck. That's why we maintain a top-notch technical assistance call center to support you with your questions. When you're craving the best deals around on great auto parts at reasonable rates, check out www.partsgeek.com!

1996 Ford Bronco CV Boot Kit

Neither Satisfied Nor Dissatisfied
Reviewer: CV (Constant Velocity) boot fitm

Needed to replace the right side inner CV Axle Boot on '99 Ford Explorer after nickin' it with a metal cutter grindin' off 10+ years of frame rust. The darned 10,000 rpm grinder bounced off the frame and had to barely nick the axle boot just enough to ooze out moly grease - OOooh what a PITA to fix! The choice came down to buying a new CV boot for nearly $20 -or- a new CV Axle Half-Shaft and re-using the boot from the remaining good axle to replace the bad one. Make sure to buy neoprene instead of rubber for inner cv boot(s) due to variable hi and low temps the vehicle drivetrain is exposed to.
