Ford Maverick
The Ford Maverick is a compact car that was manufactured as two- and four-door sedans from 1969 to 1977. It was a popular vehicle that offered a fastback roof, long hood and other trim details popularized by the Ford Mustang and Falcon. Bring back this piece of history or keep your fully restored classic car running like a dream with auto parts found at PartsGeek.com.
Where To Find Classic Ford Maverick Auto Parts
Classic car parts are more difficult to come by than modern alternatives. If the brake pads wear out on a modern car, you can go to just about any local auto parts store and find an affordable rate on the part you need. For a classic car, that same part may be a special order that costs more and requires lengthy shipping times.
At PartsGeek.com, we offer a wide range of must-have Maverick components from headlights to tail lights, turn to our extensive catalog of online auto parts for your routine repairs or major replacement tasks.
Our competitive catalog sources components from vendors and warehouses around the United States. Instead of focusing on a single brand, we carry a number of leading brand options for OEM or aftermarket updates.
Signs You Need To Repair Your Maverick
You may not be sure whether you’re dealing with a major repair task or a minor maintenance issue with your classic car. The Ford Maverick is a reliable car made with durable components, but a car that’s decades old could have a number of repair needs. Here are some common signs that it’s time to pop the hood or jack up your Maverick for a repair task:
- Stuttering or stalling engine
- Reduced fuel economy
- Leaking fluids
- Dark, foul-smelling oil
- Inefficient brake system
- Grinding or metal-on-metal sounds
Use these signs to troubleshoot your way through the possible causes. Because your car is older, you have a wider range of parts to consider. Grinding brakes could be the pads, but they could also be rotors, calipers or other components. A leaking fluid could be a small coolant leak, but it could be an engine or transmission leak. Understanding the cause of the maintenance issue is the first step in repairing your ride.
How To Save Money on Replacement Parts
Your Maverick may be a piece of living history and a stylish ride, but that doesn’t mean you want to pay a fortune maintaining it. From restoration to typical maintenance tasks, there are a number of ways that you can save money on your car ownership with the help of PartsGeek.com.
Start by considering DIY maintenance tasks. Don’t take on anything over your head, but maintaining your own car removes costly bills at your local mechanic. Install items yourself to reduce the cost of routine maintenance or a large automotive part replacement project.
Our online store offers competitive rates on remanufactured and new components from leading brands. These prices are even more affordable thanks to low shipping costs. From a muffler to a headlight bulb, find a diverse set of components and order them today at PartsGeek.com.

great product to clear my headers was hitting my header and this solved the problem, thanks - drop bracket
attention to detail when a shipping error accorded I was very impressed with professional customer care.
Thank You - tonywtong
Order a full brake kit for the rear end of my car. Drums, shoes, wheel cylinders and this spring kit. The drums seem ok, the shoes are 1 1/2 inches wide when the drum is 2 inches wide. So you have wasted braking surface and a drum that last half as long. And they are suppose to be the best shoes. The wheel cylinders they sent me were completely wrong. And so even though the sprint kit seems alright I'm doubtful. - AJ Herron

I own a 1977 Ford Maverick. It is often difficult to get parts. I was able to order the domelight lamp from this company without a problem. It was an exact OEM replacement and two to a package. That way I am ready for next time. Great website -easy to use - package arrived and was very well packed to avoid breakage. - Exactly what I needed for 1977 Ford
