This is the part you need if the convertible top of your 2007 Mercedes CLK 350 won't go down with the "Close Trunk Partition" message on the dash. The strut wasn't holding the partition closed (merely closing the trunk would jostle it out of position) and not engaging the roof interlock. It took a little work to get the old one off and I had to remove/move the interior panels in the trunk, but the new one snapped right in. Now the trunk partition click solidly into the up or down position. I now have one very happy wife. Thanks, Parts Geek!

These struts are easily confused with ones, but Parts Geek was very good at pinpointing the right ones. They came quickly and were easy to install after prying the old ones off with a big screwdriver. Just snapped in place.
