What are Nissan Pickup shocks?

Without shocks, your Nissan pickup would bounce when in motion. Vehicles are prone to bouncing for two reasons. First, the vehicle’s engine, wheels, and other systems cause movement. Shocks combat this movement, giving your truck a cushion on which to sit. Similarly, rough roads and other terrain cause external bouncing forces. Shocks absorb these forces, providing for a smooth ride inside the cabin. Because you need your shocks both to resist vehicle movement and to counter environmental forces, you want to make sure they are in great shape. Periodically inspect your Nissan’s suspension system to be certain it hasn’t sustained damage.

How much do Nissan Pickup shocks cost?

At PartsGeek.com, shocks for a Nissan pickup typically cost between $30 and $60. Your truck’s model and year, the shock’s placement location, and the shock’s manufacturer determine the exact cost of replacement shocks, however.

How do I know if my Nissan Pickup shocks are bad?

Damaged or worn shocks negatively affect your pickup’s performance. They also can impact the quality of your ride. Watch for the following signs to know when you might need to replace your Nissan pickup shocks:

  • Bouncing during driving
  • Uneven tire wear
  • Pulling from side to side
  • Vibrations during driving

Easy install and the ride was smooth. Fast shipment.

Reviewer: Review for KYB Excel-G front shocks

Purchased these shocks as a replacement of my old ones and am satisfied with the overall performance. Pretty comfy ride with a controlled rebound due to the nitrogen gas. But in no way a KYB full nitrogen shock. These shocks have given my 18yr old truck some control back. I intended to install them myself. But Sears had a fair price of just $20 for each shock installed. Overall I am Satisfied. But maybe the full nitrogen gas shocks from KYB will have me "very satisfied".

Reviewer: KYB EXCEL-G rear shocks

These shocks are pretty comfy and give decent control back. I was gonna install them myself. But Sears only wanted $20/shock. So I couldn't resist. Overall these are a good shock. Not too stiff and not too soft. I have not loaded the bed yet to see how they respond to a load.
