BMW 335i Replacement Radiator Information

The radiator is an engine cooling component that is added to your BMW 335i. To cool the engine down an engine coolant (a water mixture such as antifreeze or perhaps oil) absorbs heat from the engine block. The warmer coolant then goes to the radiator where it is distributed across the radiator core. When circulated, via the radiator tubes, the coolant's heat is then reduced. The radiators usually include a water pump for the engine coolant, and axial fan to enhance the airflow. They are usually mounted behind the front grill.

Your radiator is constructed from aluminum, plastic, steel and copper-brass. They are quality direct fit OE replacement radiators. Some include mounting brackets and hose connections. The radiators can be added to BMW 335i sub model years 2007 - 2012. They are most suitable for Base sub models which have six cylinder three liter engines.

Quality is on part with BMW OEM but at much more economical price. The only differences I noticed are that the spacing between radiator fins seem slightly larger than OEM and drain plug is not OEM style.

Reviewer: Well, it's a radiator and it works!

Well, not a lot to say here. It's a radiator, and it seems to do the job. I will say that the plastic pieces on either side of coils seem very solid. If you plan on doing this work yourself, plan for several hours. You have to remove most radiator hoses, the intercooler, electric fan and of course the old radiator.

Also, a word of caution: When connecting the upper and lower radiator hoses, but sure they they are completely all-the-way on before securing the clip. I had to do this work twice because the lower hose was not on all the way and the pressure forced it off after driving around for a bit.
