Research on Grille for GMC Safari

GMC Safari Grille

Nobody likes to drive around in a vehicle that looks like it’s been in an accident, or that is showing its age with a roughed-up grille. Grilles keep debris from reaching your engine, permitting air to pass through to the radiator to keep your Safari running cool. A grille not only helps keep your engine safe, but it also keeps your van looking great.

Whether you’re seeking to replace your GMC Safari grille due to an accident, or if you’d simply like to upgrade your GMC’s look, you’ve come to the right place. Low prices and a 30-day return policy, along with fast shipping, make PartsGeek.com the place to go for your parts needs. Get your new grille today, and be back on the road ASAP.

Why is grille replacement important?

Grilles are notorious for gumming up with bugs, but insects are just part of why grilles are key to keeping your engine in top shape. Rocks, debris, and even animals are hazards when you’re driving at high speeds, and the grille creates a barrier.

How much do grilles cost?

Grilles vary in price, depending on the following factors:

  • The year your GMC Safari was built
  • The style of grille you’re looking for

With PartsGeek.com’s great pricing, you can buy your GMC Safari grille today for some of the lowest prices around. Generally, a grille will cost you between $100 and $130.

How do I install a new grille on my GMC Safari?

Installing a new grille is simple:

  • If your van has screws to remove, use either a phillip’s screwdriver or a torx screwdriver to remove the screws (the type will vary depending on your model year).
  • If your model has clips, squeeze the clips to remove the grille.
  • Unbolt the turn signals and remove them. Newer models have clip-in signals. Use a flathead screwdriver at the fender side to gently pry signals out. There will be screws/bolts holding the grille in place behind them.
  • Once removed, place your new grille into place and secure it with the screws or clips.
  • Replace the turn signals.

Some of our Customer Reviews
Neither Satisfied Nor Dissatisfied
Reviewer: Rkonowaluk

Overall, the grill looks great, but it arrived cracked on the two ends that support the signal lenses. It's definitely a weak spot and I think it could've been packed better. Rather than trying to get a replacement, I used some quality bonding glue and fixed it. It's not anywhere that the cracks can be seen once installed.
