This part work just fine after installation. The only problem I had was that the seal o-ring that comes with part, did not fit the tank properly. The “square” flat ring was too thick and wrong diameter (sat snugged up underneath the tabs the lock ring rotated under and left no room to turn) to sit in inner area of tank, to allow the pump and lock ring to be able to seat under the tabs of the tank. Thankfully, the old ring removed was reusable (rounded o-ring) and with a little cleaning and petroleum, it allowed the new part to be installed without an issue. - Part worked fine

Direct replacement of OEM unit. Dropped right in. Supplied gasket was a little difficult to seal under the lock ring. - 89 Jeep YJ.
Rubber gasket was too thick but reused old one. - Could find this no where else!
