To maintain the value and appearance you selected with your BMW M5, it's crucial to use only the best names in high-performance auto parts. Your fine BMW was created with the highest quality and expertise; it should get new replacement or OEM parts of a similar top level of reliability. What is a BMW M5 Control Arm?

The BMW M5 Control Arm is an important part of the vehicle suspension system. It is a flat, somewhat triangular piece, and either end is mounted to the frame and wheel. The slim end of the control arm is fastened to the wheel by a ball joint while the wider end is attached to the frame and pivots on a bushing. This is what allows the car to be steered.

How much does a BMW M5 Control Arm Cost?

The cost of a BMW M5 Control Arm can vary depending on the make, model and year of your car. It can also vary from brand to brand, and depending on how many additional parts and accessories come with the main component. Here on PartsGeek.com you can expect to find a control arm costing between $100 to $120.

What are the symptoms of a bad control arm?

If the control arm in your BMW is bad, you’ll be paying attention to the steering wheel. When the bushings or ball joints wear out, it can cause your steering wheel to either vibrate while accelerating or pull the steering alignment left or right while driving straight. Another common indicator are clunking noises, as the loose joints can clunk around when the car is starting up or traveling on bumpy roads.
