Somewhat Satisfied

Caliper and piston quality seems fine. Caliper pin's hex size was between 6 and 7mm, so I ended up reusing my old 7mm pin. Caliper itself is smaller than old one, which required me to reroute the brake line because it was somewhat stretched while the wheel was turned. These 2 issues prevented a 5-star rating.

I looked at different part supply houses trying to locate the brake caliper for a 1991 BMW, 325i. I ordered the part from Parts Geek. I received the part and when went to install it, I discovered that I had ordered the wrong part. I checked the catalog for the caliper without bracket. I had ordered the part that it listed. I started researching to try and find the problem. I decided to check the VIN#. I found a site online to interpret the VIN#. It told me that based on the manufacture date it was a 1992 instead of 1991. I looked up the part number for that year and if gave me the right part. I emailed Parts Geek advising them that I had ordered the wrong part. In a couple of days I received a return authorization.
