BMW 325e Replacement Brake Caliper Information

When you step down on your BMW 325e's brakes, you activate the brake caliper, the piece of equipment responsible for pressing the brake rotors together, which, in turn, creates the friction that stops your car. Brake calipers are an essential part of the brake disc system. They consist of moving blocks and brake pads, metal housings line with friction-proof materials. They fit over the brake rotors like clamps. When you press down on the brake pedal, you are forcing brake fluid into the caliper, which presses against the caliper blocks. These pistons, in turn, push the pads against the rotor. Calipers can collect dirt and debris. When the level of brake fluid goes down, they also have a greater risk of becoming damaged. When brake calipers begin to stick, your brakes will be harder to operate. Buy replacement brake calipers for your BMW 325e at PartsGeek.com.

The part that I ordered was broken in shipping due to not being packed properly. It took me some time to make contact with the vendor, including several phone calls and emails. On the initial contact, I arranged to ship the damaged one back, but the person I talked to did not mention anything about getting a replacement. It took another call to determine how to get a new parts shipped to me. The replacement part arrived yesterday and I installed it on my car. Now, I am waiting for instructions on where to ship the used part I removed from my car to get my core deposit credited to my account.

PartsGeek had the fuel pump for my 2002 Firebird at over $100 less than other outlets. The order process was easy and the right part was delivered quickly. I will use PartsGeek again in the future.
