It was exactly what I wanted, and was much lower priced than other parts dealers.
Great product that was shipped timely and came in perfect condition.
This blower motor base is completely plastic and is a twist lock assembly. To install the motor you slide the blower wheel into the opening, seat the blower base against the opening and twist the blower motor about an eight of a turn to lock in place. It has to be completely locked in place or the blower vent tube won't line up. When I tried to turn the motor to lock in it just wouldn't turn the distance needed. I took it out and sprayed the motor base with silicone spray to help turning it. No luck. I took the motor off again and used a file to trim down the plastic tabs that lock the motor in place. After several tries at filing I was able to tap the motor in place by using a 3/8" socket extension and taping on the plastic rib. It's locked in the right place and the air tube is attached but it does make some ticking noise at low speed. You probably wouldn't even notice it with the engine running or radio on. Bottom line was I saved at least $50 over eB*y or Amaz*n.
