I needed tie rod ends for my Land Rover. Everything for Land Rovers is expensive (especially gas!). I went to a Midas shop, they obviously didn't have the part in stock, they called and got a price of $119 each. This doesn't even sound that bad. But I asked the guy if I could try to get the part on my own and he agreed.

Parts Geek price? $25!!! I was pretty sure it would not be the right part but I bought them, the guy put them in without any problem and I am about $200 ahead. I love it!
