After losing an argument with a roadside trash can, I thought a replacement mirror was going to be an expensive affair. This replacement turned out be quite reasonably priced. After I reviewed the installation procedure on youtube, the actual job took about 15 minutes.

This side mirror full assembly went on the door perfectly. I would strongly suggest watching YouTube videos on how to replace the side mirror before attempting this job. One caution: the original red cover did not fit this mirror, so had to keep the black cover that came with this mirror. I am not sure if it's worth painting over.

A bit on the flimsy side compared to a factory mirror, but worth the gamble for the savings of $50- or more. Instead of a siliconized seal, it comes with a foam seal so you may want to caulk it before install- especially near the top. But for the price, it performs great and I'm happy with it.

Unfortunately, the original silver mirror cover would not snap firmly onto the new mirror housing, and we had to use the supplied "ready to paint" cover. Too bad. The mismatch was likely fractions of a millimeter, but the original cover simply would not stay on.
