Removing an old fan that refuses to spin anymore.
New fan moves just as much air as the original, creating a chilly interior once again!
Installation was simple: unplug fan power connector, remove three torx bolts and the housing comes out the top with the fan. Remove three retaining nuts and swap in the new fan. 30 minutes and done. It's that simple.
I brought a item from them and it came in two days.It was the right part and cheaper then anywhere else. I will be shopping there for now own.
The fan worked perfectly but it was a bear to install. It was hard to get wiring disconnected and there were hoses in the way. That is VW design at fault, not the product.
This is the smaller can. I replaced the larger fan a few years ago when it failed, and it's worked great. This one popped right in and got things cool again.
Was a bit hesitant about buying the product at first since i have a vr6 jetta. I read the deacription thouroughly and saw that it read that it also fit vr6 jettas. Took out the old one, this one fit perfect
