This part is very easy to unplug and clean and/or replace. my rpm needle started twitching after 120,000 miles and I knew it was about time to replace it.I did not realize that the temperature probe color supposed to be yellow till I got this part. Mine was turning orange. They shipped this part really fast, I'll be coming back here for more parts for sure :)
