This Bosch ABS control unit should be installed in 1999 through 2001 Audi A6 Quattro vehicle. The ABS (anti-lock brake system) keeps the brakes from locking up by rapidly opening and shutting the brake pads over the rotor to stop the vehicle. This pumping is usually imperceptible to the driver, but it prevents a loss of control from the brakes locking. This ABS control unit fits vehicles with the EDS - also called electronic differential lock. Use this with 8E0 614 111E or 8E0 614 111A ABS Control Units for the Audi A6 Quattro.
