Product Description

The E8375 electric fuel pump by Airtex is used in the 1984-1989 Nissan 300ZX. The Airtex Fuel Pump is used only for gas-driven and flex-fuel (using gas/electric not diesel) vehicles. These fuel pumps are precision built to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) specifications; its construction features the latest in technology. In an internal combustion engine, the fuel pump is the device which takes fuel from the automobile's fuel tank into the fuel intake system for combustion. Cars with electronic fuel injection have an electronic control unit (ECU) which may be programmed with safety logic to shut off the electric fuel pump even if the engine is running. In the event of an accident, this can prevent fuel leaking from any ruptured fuel line.
