Product Description

This fuel pump is made by Airtex for use on 1999 to 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 trucks. This assembly comes with a wiring harness, two electrical connectors on the fuel pump, and the module code TCF. The fuel pump is installed in the fuel tank to deliver gas from the fuel tank to the engine. When replacing the fuel pump, the entire fuel system should be checked for leaks or cracks, especially in the fuel lines. The battery must be disconnected when replacing the fuel pump to avoid a stray spark from the system causing a fuel fire from the gas in the open gas tank. Installation of this fuel pump is recommended on 1999 to 2004 Sierra 1500 trucks. It may not be compatible with other vehicles.
