2001-2006 Ford Escape Ignition Coil - Karlyn 5048
The car's Ford Escape Ignition Coil augments the battery's 12 volts to a much higher voltage, which is important in order to turn over the engine's pistons. Your Ignition Coil, also called an induction coil, is a component of the ignition system that operates to change battery current to more potent levels. Your Ignition Coil may have an interior or exterior resistor which creates an equal voltage across the terminals instead of a sharp jolt to your coil. Your Ignition Coil draws a 12-volt charge from the car's battery and converts it to an increased voltage so that the spark plugs can spark, or jump, across the spark plug aperture. A broken Ignition Coil might lead to major problems with the efficiency of your car or truck, so it needs to be immediately fixed. Forestall accumulating consequences by getting a reliable Karlyn Ignition Coil for your Ford Escape.
