The Airtex Fuel Pump will work with Chevrolet Blazers with model years 1997 and 1998. Your vehicle's Fuel Pump pumps air the gas assembly to force gasoline out of the gas tank into the motor. Generally, Fuel Pumps sit in your fuel tank; since liquid gasoline isn't flammable, this is the safest area for installation. The Fuel Pump is a vacuum device that operates to move gas out of the reservoir to the engine. The Fuel Pump moves gas from the fuel reservoir to your automobile's motor, where it's blended with oxygen for burning inside the cylinders. Chevrolet Blazers from model years 1997 and 1998 will work with this Fuel Pump. Different makes and models probably will not be compatible, so this Fuel Pump should not be used on those models.
