Oriented for the left side of the vehicle, the 1996-2002 Mercury Grand Marquis Catalytic Converter has been designed to the same specifications as the originally installed model and to maximize engine output. It is sold as one complete assembly, with a 34 inch long oval body along with a 2-bolt spin type inlet and 2-bolt welded type outlet. The 3-way catalyst style catalytic converter also features three 18 millimeter oxygen sensor ports. No welding or cutting is required during installation, so the unit can be replaced easily and to lengthen the operating life of each vehicle in the 1996-2002 Mercury Grand Marquis series.
