This Bosch brand blower motor needs to be installed in BMW 2002 cars made between 1968 and1976. The blower motor is an integral part of the cabin's comfort control system. It pushes heated or cooled air through the vents into the car. Without the blower motor, the car will still run, but the driver will not have the advantage of driving in air conditioned or heated comfort. This Bosch blower motor does not include the fan. That part will need to be purchased separately if replacing it is required. Do not install this blower motor in new BMW vehicles as it may not fit the heating and cooling system of newer cars.
