package arrived as expected on time and in decent shape. the cardboard packaging took a beating and was broken in places due to the weight of the alternator, but there was plenty of padding inside to protect it. it came with the o ring which was a plus. i realized after installing it that there is an extra nut and locknut on the positive post that was not on the original, so i just took off the extra nut...actually ended up using the locknut even though it wasnt stock. fired right up at start and havent had a problem in the 2 days i've driven it. now i need to go through the core return process. will update if there is an issue with this. at this point, very satisfied as i've saved myself a ton of money with what seems to be a quality USA product!
