The window motor is often the cause when your power windows fail to operate. However, it is not always the cause, so it is best to check out other options before replacing the motor. The fist thing to check in the event of a power window failure is whether or not the source of the problem is a blown fuse. If there are no problems to be found with the fuses, then you’ll need to do a bit of disassembly and take a look at the window parts found behind the interior door panel.
