A seat cover is a pre-formed cloth cover that is designed to fit over the seat of a car. Available in a wide variety of colors and designs, seat covers are used to change the interior look of a vehicle while also providing the original cloth with an added layer of protection. With a seat cover in place, the original interior material is protected from spills, tears and general wear and tear. In addition, thanks to the padding that is regularly included with most seat covers, the installation of a seat cover can provide an added layer of comfort for the driver and his or her passengers. Although seat covers are most commonly used to protect the original seat material or to alter the look of the vehicle's interior, they may also be used to cover up seat material that has already become damaged, stained or worn out. When selecting a seat cover, however, it is important to purchase one that was designed to suit the make and model of the vehicle in which it will be used. This is particularly true when purchasing a seat cover for a seat with built in airbags. While there are some customizable designs available that are marketed as "one size fits all," purchasing a seat cover designed for a particular type of automobile will help ensure a good fit. While there are many different colors and designs of seat covers available, it is important to consider more than just the look of the material when selecting a seat cover for a vehicle. Some of the most common materials available include genuine sheepskin, vinyl, leatherette, tweed and velour. With each material having a unique texture and other qualities, such as stain-resistance, learning more about the pros and cons of each type of material is an essential step toward selecting the right seat cover to suit an individual's needs.

This was a good investment! Every other website said they had to be professionally installed but, it wasn't that bad. I had to remove the four bolts from the bottom of the seat and lift it out to get the cover on. No problem!
I liked the promt service and the ease of naagating through PartsGeek's website. The seat covers, while satisfied with the look and feel, in fact did not completely fit. There's a snap on the back that just ain't happening, but the covers are staying on and that's what is most important.
The rear seat cover fits as well as the front seat covers. Again, it takes some thought as to how the sides/bottom attach so everything pulls together, but once done it looks great, and provides full coverage for the back seat.
After going through a couple sets of generic-fit, light weight nylon covers I decided to try these. They fit like gloves, are of a heavier, more protective material, and look great. The only criticism I have is the installation instructions: they're generic to many seat covers. However, it doesn't take long to see how they attach, and the end result is great coverage, and protection.
