Replacement Exhaust Headers Information
There are so many advantages to installing high performance exhaust headers, you wonder why these after-market add-ons aren’t standard equipment on every car and truck. But since they aren’t, you can get them from us! Engines perform better when they receive more air, and that’s what headers are all about--putting more air into the engine and pushing more exhaust out. When you add headers to your engine, you’re actually installing a separate exhaust pipe for each cylinder instead of channeling all of the exhaust through an exhaust manifold. The result is a throatier-sounding engine that produces less drag on the engine. Headers relieve the resistance that the piston has to push against to expel the exhaust gases, so your car burns fuel more efficiently. Headers add horsepower, improve mileage, reduce back pressure in the exhaust, provide faster acceleration in lower gears, and allow the engine to run cooler, because the exhaust is immediately removed from the cylinder.
