Your car's Fuel Pump is a vacuum device that works to shift gasoline from the reservoir to the engine. Your Fuel Pump helps force gas from the fuel reservoir to your car's fuel injectors, where it's blended with oxygen for combustion within the cylinders. Most Fuel Pumps sit within the fuel reservoir; because liquid gasoline is not combustible, this is the optimal place for installation. Chevrolet Silverado 1500s from the years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 are compatible with this Fuel Pump.
