If its ancestor, the humble Volkswagen Beetle, is simply an “overgrown motorcycle” (a sardonic reference to its underpowered air-cooled engine), the Porsche 911 is a Volkswagen Beetle on steroids. Its basic shape bears a superficial resemblance to its predecessor, to be sure – but once its out on the road and the accelerator pressed to the floor, it's hard to recognize the Porsche 911 as anything but a high-performance sports car – and one of the five most influential automotive designs of the last century. Such a high-performance product of legendary German engineering deserves nothing less than the finest replacement parts when components such as spark plugs, distributors and filters wear out. Making an investment in regular maintenance with top-quality parts will insure that you Porsche 911 maintains its legendary performance levels.

Porsche 911

The original Porsche 911 was a German-made luxury sports car, manufactured between 1963-1989. It was succeeded by a modified version, internally referred to as Porsche 964 but still sold as Porsche 911, as are current models. The original 911 series will be found on most lists of the all-time most successful competition cars. No other sports car matches its span of powertrain choices. At the same time, not every 911 is created equal, as some are comfortable enough for every day driving, while others are more suited to a racetrack. For everyday driving, the 2016 Porsche 911 will never be mistaken for a luxury coupe. The seven-speed manual clutch is heavy and the ride quality can be stiff. Forget about comfort and easy-to-drive considerations though. You really need to get the 911 on the track, where its quick and precise steering will give you an unprecedented sense of control and engagement.

Every 2016 Porsche 911 is outfitted with antilock disc brakes and front seat side airbags. Its snug front seats, with varying degrees of adjustability and lateral bolstering, give you ample head and leg room, and even the base chairs provide excellent support for both long-distance and high-speed driving. The rear seats, however, are very small. Most 911 owners know them better for the seatbacks that flip down to become useful cargo shelves. Still, they're big enough to fit small children or smaller pets, and that gives the 911 a practical advantage over its two-seat-only rivals. Although the front trunk measures only 5.1 cubic feet, it holds more stuff than you would ever think possible.

Such a high-performance product of legendary German engineering deserves nothing less than the finest replacement parts when components such as spark plugs, distributors and filters wear out. Making an investment in regular maintenance with top-quality parts will ensure that your Porsche 911 maintains its legendary performance levels. Porsche 911 is an automobile engineered for high performance and it needs premium quality OEM and aftermarket parts when replacement becomes necessary. Consider, for example, the radiator. It is usually made from metal or plastic and contains the coolant mixture of antifreeze and water that is used to keep the engine cooled off while it is operating. Your Porsche 911 Radiator is situated in front of the engine and utilizes air passing through the grille to cool the antifreeze. Your vehicle's Porsche 911 Radiator is important to the cooling system as it holds the coolant resources that are necessary circulate throughout the area surrounding the motor. Installed right behind the car or truck's front grille, Porsche 911 Radiators are an essential component of the cooling system. Coolant leaks are not uncommon and are usually easily repairable, but sometimes the problem is serious and you will need to replace the radiator. If this is the case, go to partsgeek.com for the best deals in Porsche 911 oem and aftermarket parts.
