Scion tC Replacement TPMS Sensor Information
The Scion tC, a compact-sized touring coupe produced by a division of Toyota since 2004, has been fitted with now-legally required TPMS sensors on its wheels since 2006, one year before the TREAD law requiring TPMS use became the law of the land. TPMS, or tire pressure monitoring systems, are designed to save lives by alerting drivers of vehicles employing their use when their tires are dangerously under inflated.
If a TPMS sensor on your Scion tC becomes damaged, stops working properly or gets stolen, a replacement will be required.
