Mercedes 380SL Replacement Timing Chain Tensioner Information

You selected a Mercedes seeking the blend of satisfying responsiveness and classy design that render it a one-of-a-kind machine. Prestigious vehicle dealer Mercedes is famous for engineering cars that include magnificent looks and unmatched innovation. Mercedes vehicles have been built for roominess; Mercedes owners also enjoy a certain status. Personally knowing a good mechanic is key if yours is a high quality car such as the Mercedes 380SL, and other similar models, because repairs are usually costly. Mercedes is trusted for creating cars that offer long lasting reliability and great driver control. The Mercedes 380SL is a vehicle engineered for high performance and it needs the best quality auto parts. Symptoms of a broken Mercedes 380SL Timing Chain Tensioner can include a rattle that can be noticed after the engine warms up and that fluctuates with the speed in the engine. A car or truck's Mercedes 380SL Timing Chain Tensioner makes sure that the timing chain stays in place by keeping the right amount of tension on the chain so it can't shift out of place. Because the car's metal timing chain is under stress from heat and constant movement, the Mercedes 380SL Timing Chain Tensioner plays a critical role in keeping the chain locked in place.

They are available for the following Mercedes 380SL years: 1985, 1984, 1983, 1982, 1981, 85, 84, 83, 82, 81. This part is also sometimes called Mercedes 380SL Chain Tensioner. The part that I ordered was broken in shipping due to not being packed properly. It took me some time to make contact with the vendor, including several phone calls and emails. On the initial contact, I arranged to ship the damaged one back, but the person I talked to did not mention anything about getting a replacement. It took another call to determine how to get a new parts shipped to me. The replacement part arrived yesterday and I installed it on my car. Now, I am waiting for instructions on where to ship the used part I removed from my car to get my core deposit credited to my account.
