BMW 745i Replacement Timing Belt Tensioner Information
The engine on your 745i runs properly because of a timing belt. Without it, the valves are not going to open and close the right amount of times, which isn't letting enough clean air in and enough exhaust out. The timing is controlled by the timing belt. I usually check out the various forums to see who they use and PartsGeek.com even beat their recommendations! Shipping cost were very very, very fair at $6.50 for (14) large bolts and all the gaskets. They shipped out the same day I ordered them and they arrived the next day.
