BMW 320i Replacement Tie Rod Information
The BMW Tie Rod is one of those parts whose failure can cause serious injury or death. The 320i is a high performance vehicle that can become totally within seconds of a failed tie rod. The tie rods connect the front wheels of the vehicle with the steering mechanisms. If a tie rod is not present, the front wheels can turn freely in any direction. In the worst tie rod failure, one of the front wheels of the BWM will simply turn sideways during the motion of the vehicle.
This is the equivalent of the worst front tire blowout that anyone has ever experienced. Even the most talented and experienced driver will have trouble controlling the vehicle if the BMW Tie Rod completely fails. The job of replacing a tie rod is not easy and is also not one of the hardest jobs. Most new mechanics can complete this job.
