BMW 325Ci Replacement Throttle Body Information
When you step on the gas pedal in your 325Ci, there's a lot that happens. The amount that you accelerate causes air to flow into the engine in response to how much gas you want to give the car. This also means that there has to be a specific amount of air going into the engine as well. The throttle body is seated between the air filter and the intake manifold and controls the amount of air that flows into the engine. When you need to replace your throttle body, you may also need to replace the spacer as well as the butterfly valve that opens and closes to allow the air in.
