Acura Legend Replacement Strut Mount Information
Each strut mount installed on your Acura Legend, of which there are a total of four, are important components of your vehicle's suspension, sometimes overlooked but important to consider. The strut mounts are the points where the suspension struts are anchored to the body of the car, although they do much more than simply secure your vehicle to its suspension parts. The mounts, which are made from think rubber bonded on both sides to strong metal plates, also act as cushions to smooth road bumps and reduce noise and vibration. Front mounts also incorporate bearings that act as pivot points for the car's steering assembly.
