Pontiac Grand Am Replacement Radiator Fan Information
Each component down to a tiny part like a radiator fan Pontiac Grand Am has to work together. Sitting smartly atop the radiator unit, the radiator fan Pontiac Grand Am takes hot air generated during the engine combustion process away through the radiator and beyond. It is operated off the car's 12-volt battery and controlled through a thermostat. A puller fan takes overheated air away from the engine allowing the system to process cooler air whose higher oxygen levels generates better combustion. The hot air runs through the radiator for processing and discharge. The Pontiac Grand Am is a venerable mid-size car that has undergone three separate model runs since its introduction in the mid-1970s. What remains constant is a tough working radiator fan. Since this part can be damaged through tough road conditions or even daily driving, it must be replaced immediately to maintain peak vehicle performance.
