Cadillac STS Replacement Radiator Information
The Cadillac STS is a luxury automobile that has been in production since 2005. Cadillac has a reputation for providing top quality cars and the STS model is no exception to that tradition. This car uses an internal combustion engine which generates a significant amount of heat. The radiator is an essential component of the vehicle because it is responsible for cooling the engine down. Modern cars use radiators that operate horizontally and the radiator is under the hood.
Radiators use an expansion tank, collection tank, fans, and a series of tubes to transport coolant throughout the system. Coolant starts in the collector tank and is circulated through the system and into the expansion tank. Radiators also use a recovery tank to keep coolant from leaking while the car is running. Problems with the radiator can lead to the engine overheating or seizing up. Replacement parts are available at PartsGeek.com.
