Get the Best Priced Honda Passport Oxygen Sensor

Since there are four oxygen (O2) sensors on a Honda Passport, if you are alerted to a malfunctioning O2 sensor on your Passport you need to narrow it down to which one so that you properly replace the defective unit. O2 sensors, which kind of resemble spark plugs, are found in the exhaust system, two on the left side (bank) and two on the right. Each side has one mounted "upstream," meaning ahead of the catalytic converter (in the exhaust manifold) and one "downstream," meaning after the catalytic converter.

Upstream O2 sensors measure the amount of oxygen found in the exhaust and report that information to the ECU so it is better able to regulate the precise air/fuel mixture injected to the cylinders for combustion.
