Kia Sedona Replacement Oil Filter Information
The Kia Sedona is a minivan that has been in production since 2002 and it was taken off the market in 2012 in the United States. This car is still available in most other countries of the world and it has been around in other countries since 1998. The Sedona uses an internal combustion engine that requires a steady supply of oil to keep all of the moving parts lubricated. This cuts down on friction and heat inside the engine which helps avoid overheating or seizing up.
All oil needs to pass through the oil filter of the Sedona before it is sent to the engine. The oil filter is made of a metal outside with a paper filter on the inside and it is mounted behind one of the front tires on most vehicles. Oil is allowed to pass through the system while contaminants are trapped and held behind.
