Audi 5000 Replacement Muffler Information
Treating, and clearing out, engine combustion byproduct emissions as well as dampening vehicle sound are the main missions for the 5000 Audi muffler. Consisting of a series of interconnecting exhaust pipes leading to the tail pipe, the 5000 Audi muffler uses a network of walls, chamber and screens to treat emissions before pushing them out of the vehicle. The engine combustion process produces byproducts like nitrous oxide and other gasses that would take up room inside the engine if they were not treated and expelled. The engine needs that room to house cooler air for more efficient burning. The muffler also knocks down the considerable amount of noise created by the lower suspension and engine, so people around the vehicle aren't bombarded by vehicle noise. The muffler is important for optimal operation of the Audi 5000 and must be maintained or replaced to keep the vehicle doing its utmost.
