Audi 90 Quattro Replacement Head Bolt Information
The head bolts keep your cylinder head in place, but when you remove a bad bolt from the bunch, you will have to unscrew all of the bolts. This will ensure that when you put the new head bolt on, it will be at the same torque as the other bolts and that all of the bolts are tightened in an alternating pattern to provide even pressure on the head gasket. If you do not remove or install your new head bolt correctly, you may find that you need a new head gasket to install on your engine, too.
