Cadillac DeVille Replacement Fuel Tank Cap Information
A luxury car features a world class engine, but your Cadillac DeVille isn't going anywhere if your fuel tank cap is not screwed onto the tank tightly or if the cap is cracked. The DeVille Cadillac fuel tank cap keeps gas in the tank and provide pressure needed to allow the fuel pump to send gas to engine fuel injectors.
Drivers need to replace the DeVille Cadillac fuel tank cap every time they fill the rear tank with gas. Should they forget about the cap, gasoline may gush out or fuel may not get to the engine properly. The cap is custom threaded to fit the grooves on the top outside of the fuel tank.
