Instead, Nissan recomends that fuel pump assembly #17050-01G04 should be used in place of fuel pump 17042-3B000. When using fuel pump assembly 17050-01G04 to replace the original fuel pump, be sure to remove the adapter harness (approx. 13" in length) from the vehicle's fuel pump wiring harness before connecting to the new fuel pump assembly.
