BMW 745i Replacement Fog Light Information
Weather related driving conditions like dense fog tests drivers, so it's a good thing to have the 745i BMW fog light cutting through the haze. The 745i BMW fog light consists of specially colored lamps shining lower intensity beams than the standard high or low beams. The light is cast downwards on the immediate road sections to cut down on water reflective glare.
The 745i BMW fog light is designed to give drivers a fighting chance in dense fog conditions. It is enclosed in chrome housing and covered with a plastic lens. As drivers choose the fog light option, a relay switch transfers 12-volt electrical power to turn on the part. The BMW 745i is a full-size sedan manufactured from 1980 to 1986. Owners make sure to replace the fog light if it is damaged or fails just in case they have to drive through the fog.
