Get the Best Priced Mercedes 260E Flex Joint

Grinding, squeaking, and clunking sounds when accelerating and decelerating are symptoms of a drive shaft problem, as are also vibrations, shaking, and lurching. Drive shaft issues relate to problems with the universal joint, or what Mercedes Benz calls the flex joint. To locate the flex joint on the 260E, inspect the area underneath the car in front of the transmission directly under the dash.
