Mazda MX6 Replacement Engine Mount Information
Cars today need an engine mount to keep all of the moving parts in line. The Mazda MX6 uses an engine mount and as a result the engine runs smoothly. These mounts provide a smooth ride for the passengers as well as stability under the hood. Engines have a lot of energy and moving parts to keep track of and without a mount the engine could move around unexpectedly. The mount is a simple piece that is composed of two pieces of metal. One of these pieces is bolted to the engine and the other is bolted to the body of the car. This keeps the engine in place as a unit and lets the individual moving pieces do their job unobstructed. A layer of rubber is placed between the two pieces of metal in the mount to absorb noise and vibration. Replacement engine mounts are available online at PartsGeek.com
