The Lincoln Continental is a popular luxury car that has been in production a few times between 1939 and 2002. The Continental has always used an internal combustion engine, which is made up of numerous moving parts. Left unsecured the engine could move around and cause damage to other parts that are located under the hood like the transmission and the radiator. Engines need a mount for structural support and overall stability.

The engine mount is made of large pieces of metal that are individually attached to the engine and the body of the Continental.
