Mazda B2200 Replacement EGR Valve Information
The B2200 EGR valve by Mazda is responsible for the recirculating of some exhaust gas in order to keep combustion temperatures below the NOX threshold. The EGR or exhaust gas recirculation valve will control the passageway between intake and exhaust manifolds. When the valve is open, the vacuum brings the exhaust inside the valve. This will dilute the incoming mixture of air and fuel to keep your engine functioning properly.
