Chrysler Sebring Replacement EGR Valve Information
Nobody likes automotive emissions pollution, so the tiny, yet effective Sebring Chrysler EGR valve has to do its job right. The Sebring Chrysler EGR valve is an acronym for exhaust gas re-circulating valve. It assists the intake manifold in taking in cooler air featuring higher levels of denser oxygen molecules, so the engine combustion process is more efficient. A more efficient engine process means fewer polluting byproducts like nitrous oxide going into the atmosphere.
The Sebring Chrysler EGR valve must work perfectly or put the vehicle at risk of failing to meet new polluting emissions standards. Unfortunately, a tiny valve can take a pounding and fail. The Chrysler Sebring is a stylish mid-size sedan made from 1995 to 2012. It features a state of the art vehicle emissions system relying on the EGR valve. Should the valve fail, owners replace it to cut down on pollution and improve engine performance.
