Eagle Summit Replacement Control Arm Information

The slender end of the Eagle Summit Control Arm affixes to a wheel in a ball joint while the wider end of the arm is fastened to a car chassis and turns on a bushing. Most Control Arms are shaped like the letter A; the apex end attaches to the steering knuckle while the bifurcated end connects to the frame. A Control Arm is a vital component of a vehicle's suspension system, as it attaches the steering knuckle to the vehicle frame. A valuable element of several car suspension styles, your Control Arm is generally flat, triangular and mounts to your chassis as well as your wheel. When a single Control Arm needs repair, it's generally wise to get the opposite arm inspected, for it may require replacement.
